Textures’ Top 5 for Spring 2025

What’s Inspiring Us This Quarter

At Textures, inspiration is everything. Whether it’s a perfectly worn leather chair, a soulful new project, or the grain pattern in a reclaimed beam, we’re always on the lookout for what’s next. As we round out Q1 of 2025, we’re sharing a handful of things that are fueling our creativity and keeping us excited about design, beauty, and the spaces we call home.

Here’s what we’re loving right now:

1. Charleston Showroom—Now Under Construction at the Navy Yard Charleston

It’s happening. Our Charleston showroom is officially under construction, and it’s tucked into one of the most exciting, design-forward neighborhoods in the South—the historic Navy Yard Charleston. This location will be more than just a place to select flooring. It will be a destination that celebrates craftsmanship, collaboration, and the thoughtful Southern aesthetic that defines Textures. We’re pouring heart into every detail and can’t wait to open the doors.

2. Earth Tones: Always and Forever

Design in 2025 is still leaning into the warmth—and we’re not mad about it. Earth tones are having a long moment, with rich browns, velvety taupes, golden tans, and terracotta hues showing up everywhere. We’re seeing them paired with tactile finishes and layered neutrals, bringing depth and coziness to everything from kitchen cabinetry to hardwood floors. These tones feel like a warm hug—and we’re here for it.

3. KBIS + IBS 2025: The Most Exciting Show in 17 Years

We just got back from KBIS and IBS in Las Vegas, and let’s just say—it was next level. Over 117,000 attendees showed up for what many are calling the most electric show in nearly two decades. The energy was high, the creativity was flowing, and the innovations were bold. From sculptural lighting to beautiful advancements in performance materials, the design world showed up big. Our industry feels energized, and this year’s outlook is one of fearless inspiration.

4. Interiors of a Storyteller by Stephanie Sabbe

A huge congratulations to our friend and Nashville-based designer Stephanie Sabbe on the release of her debut book, Interiors of a Storyteller. It’s every bit as layered and heartfelt as her work. Stephanie designs with meaning—and this book captures that with elegance and depth. It’s also visually stunning, thanks in no small part to the incredibly talented Joseph Bradshaw, who photographed every image. His lens captured the soul of Stephanie’s spaces—quiet moments, beautiful light, and rich texture in every frame. This one deserves a spot on every design lover’s coffee table.

5. New Direct Flights: Reykjavik and Dublin, We’re Coming for You

Let’s hear it for new adventures! Nashville just launched new direct flights to Reykjavik and Dublin, and we’re itching to explore. From the poetic minimalism of Icelandic design to the layered craftsmanship and storytelling in Irish interiors, both destinations are packed with inspiration. We’re already dreaming about handwoven textiles, artisan ceramics, and the stunning natural palettes that influence these design cultures. Can’t wait to bring some of that spirit back to our projects.

There’s something special about a fresh start, and 2025 is already giving us so much to get excited about. From coast to coast—and now across the Atlantic—we’re chasing inspiration and bringing it home.

Stay curious,
